That was indeed awful, but I put up with it (and the app even improved a bit over the last year or whatever). The thing that made me finally leave was posts being shadow deleted for simply saying a man’s name and then being threatened with bans for upvoting the “wrong” content. Absolutely not.
Pretty nerdy. I was asking it how to get a good ending in a video game and when the answer annoyed me I told it “That all sounds like too much work. I think I’ll just play the game however I want to and then watch the best ending on YouTube.” That’s when it dropped the “LOL, based. Totally valid!”

I’ve been seeing this “down syndrome baddie” content in thumbnail form and just sort of threw my arms up like “2025 things I guess?” There was that video going around last year about a woman with Down syndrome talking about how she wants to go out and drink and be a club rat that everybody was applauding, so I figured this was the natural next step.

I pay for Premium now since it includes music streaming which is convenient to use. If they raise the price too much, I’ll absolutely just go back to mp3s and deal with the ads on YouTube and just watch less content on there. $15 is about my cap before I do that.
So happy I read this thread. Had it setup in no time and will be cancelling all of my streaming services. $30/year for this is pretty incredible.
On a thread about healthcare today, I watched my comment against the insurance industry get 100% upvoted two dozen times in a couple minutes and then suddenly freeze and only accept downvotes while I was immediately engaged by somebody calling me a soft brain. I then called that out and predicted an incoming [Removed by Moderator] which of course happened like five minutes later.
