3·1 month agoAnyone know the new best place to get French content? It wasn’t perfect, but it was the only place I could find many French shows, movies. A lot of places have only the English version, or don’t have it at all (French only)

1·2 months agoNice, this looks like a good solution that could be solved with a script. The other solution I was thinking might work but would also require a script to get per channel url updates is from iptvcat.com

1·2 months agoI tried thetvapp.to on a few devices recently and couldn’t get it working and previously found it struggled with big sport events, it was one of my go to’s. Is it working still on your end?

Technology@lemmy.world•DoorDashers are getting paid to close Waymo's self-driving car doorsEnglish
14·2 months agoIts funny because in the US, there are regulations that make it such that, even if they have the capability to close the doors remotely and anti pinch sensors etc, they are not allowed to unless it is done by someone from a device nearby while they hold down the close button.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Tips for moving from TrueNAS to Debian for a NAS?English
2·3 months agoI set up Debian as my NAS and gaming tower. Drives are paired by capacity in RAID, it uses BTRFS, they are pooled together, and have one LUKS password that unlocks them with the main OS drive.
With Samba share, some podman containers, Tailscale, it does everything I need it to. Since I also use it as a desktop computer, I don’t really have dashboards since I already typically sit in front of it, or can remote desktop in. I occasionally check the health of the drives, and use ECC memory/motherboard
