OpenSuse Tumbleweed is a great balance between stable and updates (rolling updates). Worth considering if Debian doesn’t work out.

No. Nothing does. There are about 1.4bn children over 5. Over 200m play per month. If you factor in economic information like those without devices, that’s huge. One in 7 kids. In a class of 30, that’s 4 players. Considering some countries will have low saturation, developed countries will have significant player population. It’s huge. Unrivaled in gaming.

Or just relatives playing games with their kids, cause playing on mobile us horrible.

I’m in the UK. Most of the kids I’m aware of play it. I know in other countries in other continents it’s popular.
It’s a platform that people login and can play experiences (games) they choose. Anyone can make those games. Popular ones like 99 Nights in the Forest can have 1 million playing at a time.
The fact you know kids that don’t play it is odd, as it’s huge. Or maybe they do and you aren’t aware. Cause usually all their friends are playing it.

Another day, another xitter red line, but they’ll be back on it in 2 weeks.
Still waiting for twitter users to get principles and a backbone.

They will. Report, and you see if the problem is one user, or the mods. If the mods are racist, it was never your thing. If they get banned, then you keep Nazis out of one more place.

Remember they have a lot of data centres planned. This is just the start. 8% of aviation emissions is huge. We should be shrinking that number ASAP, not growing it.

People ran so hard from the Tories that they didn’t consider Blue Labour would be dreadful also. Right now Labour and Tories are politically in danger and Reform and the Green Party are surging. Folk are fed up of parties not representing them. They just haven’t fully cottoned on that that also applies to Reform. Greens are probably the main hope right now. Membership trebled to 180k. Polling close to Labour.

They aren’t left. Starmer and chums undermined the left-wing leader of Labour. They’re the pro-business wing of the party. New Labour folks were always dreadful for this sort of thing. Many authoritarian changes are coming from the centre, in UK, France, Denmark etc.
It all feels co-ordinated as states and their representatives squeeze down on working people.

Gosh, and these powers could be handed to Farage.
They could be complicit in what comes next.

Keyboard shortcuts? I don’t know any and use it effortlessly. Having session restore is a gift. If you don’t want stuff open, close. However, if you are regularly going to edit multiple files, having them reopen is far superior. Multiple tabs is far better than multiple windows and much easier to work with a mouse, rather than hover over program and select other window which is slow.
If you prefer alternative good for you, but expecting a text editor to not support sessions in 2025 is bizarre. Do you consider DE’s bloat too?

Maybe recruiter referral reward. They sometimes pay in gift cards.

In UK, you get a year warranty on electricals from the retailer. You take back and they’ll swap. No dealing with manufacturer BS.
Consumer laws are important.

Isn’t there a right to not self-incriminate?

All the more reason to build open source alternatives.
Folk were plowing contributions into Linux for decades and it’s pretty mature now :).

They needed time for their journalists to get there. They’re too busy on the beaches counting migrant boat crossings.
There is more to the process life cycle than just init. Systemd is not an init system.

Yeah. The truce with the native American’s was not favoured and banning slavery wasn’t acceptable…

Cause using AOSP benefits Google’s ability to limit their app restrictions.
Tell me you don’t understand open source without telling me you don’t understand it…
You give off some real “Well achkshuslly” enlightened centrist vibes here.
Is this tech news or public relations? We already know they gone all in on AI bullshit.
