Wouldn’t this be the fourth generation? Pebble Time was the second generation and Pebble 2 was the third generation.

What he did was absolutely fair use. He downloaded shit from JSTOR while at MIT which is fine because MIT allows students and employees to access JSTOR. There was no evidence that he shared anything.

There is a nonprofit portion and a for profit portion. If i recall correctly, the nonprofit owns the majority of the for profit portion. The nonprofit board is able to replace executives without having to worry about how it affects profits.
But they are trying to change that nonprofit board to for profit.

SeaJ@lemm.eeto Technology@lemmy.world•Twitter sees largest user exodus since Musk takeoverEnglish39·7 months agoI wish they would cite numbers proving this. Usage on another platform does not necessarily indicate an exodus. Bluesky may have seen a jump in users by a million but that only puts it up to 17 million users which is not much compared to Twitter’s 250 million daily users.
I also got that article recommendation and had a good laugh.

If the catch is that it is $50k, sign me the fuck up. Lucid Air’s are pretty industry leading in regards to range at ~500 miles and those are $70k. 1500km is over 900 miles.
