Ethical would be for them to look at all their Capex. Opex and charge a healthy 20% profit on top. And if they can’t survive. Fold shop and do something else. A/B testing randomised or not, simply sees customers to be squeezed.

Anywhere exists, anyhow exists.
Why the discrimination against anywho and anywhy??
Who can do it? Anywho can do it? Why can they do it? Anywhy they can do it?

I learned C++ first, have been using python for the last decade almost daily for various one off tasks. I like python, but if I had to build something that will be used even hundred of thousand times, I wouldn’t do it in python.
Anyway point being, despite me using for decades, I still yearn for C++.

Autocorrect does weird things.

Debían based except Ubuntu, Even Ubuntu flavours like kubuntu are fine just not Ubuntu.

Oh and you think AI is not trained on the same good-shortterm-bad-longterm matches from the past?

LLM is a he’ll of a drug my friend.

Oh i see him at family events I play with his kids. I even loaned him some money to buy a house. I just stopped talking about tech or exchanging tech. I stopped his access to my plex and nextcloud. I’m the tech guy of the family but he is blacklisted in tech.

Sorry it was six years ago. I’m told to let it go, but I just don’t understand.

I gave my Linux laptop to my brother and that fucker bought a separate retail copy of windows (because it’d be stealing otherwise). I’m ashamed to be related to that fucker.

My mom kept accidently pressing the mouse button, I could never figure it out why, when I was watching I guess shed be conscious and use it properly, but complain later that things get pasted randomly. After I disabled middle click, she hasn’t complained.

I love it. You + lag what’s not to love but you look deeper and it sounds like gulag and then you love it even more because despite trying to escape from YouTube for almost a decade in still stuck in the youtube gulag. So I love youlag even more.

Yeah tell that to my sister, who wants 4k for her laptop simply because she’s heard 4k is better 4 times 1080p, she’s buying a 13 inch.
Small numbers are just not sufficient for some people. I know if I send this article to her, I’ll be questioned “why do you not want me to see happy?”. So instead I just watch my nephews collage fund contribution shrink.
Sorry it became a rant of family tech guy.

That overhauled UI is buggy as shit, slow to do anything and is objectively worse as features that were already present were removed.
Feature removal might e been excused if the UI was simplified and fast and responsive. But slow and buggy UI to replace relatively well functioning UI angered almost all users. I’m had to force install an old version of plex client exactly to avoid the non-sense.

I am fairly sure it’s GitS, but I could be wrong

I’m sure, I was pointing out why even as a customer you should be mad

The reason so many people are mad is sometimes the suit guy even comes back saying, sorry man didn’t find a discount, but here is your slip. Meanwhile he has changed the slip and added his name and would get the commission without doing anything.

For sketchy services in grey or illegal area, I’ve started paying month to month for exactly this reason.
I have three degrees, none of them have focused at all on programming. I had one c++ programming class in uni.
In my experience, most of the IT stuff is easy-ish, if you start trying. Most people have some psychological barrier with anything looking like code. I’ll give you two examples.
My wife would refuse to fix small issues in our home lab, but once I explained, everything we have is backed up twice. And wiped homelab to assure her that we can’t fuck up by accidental edit, we’d have a way to restore it she started trying, and she is decent at it. She even started our paperless container on her own. I had to help a bit in configuring it, but a bit. Soon she maybe able to manage everything. On the other hand.
At work I have this junior, I’m training. First I had a json file, he got scared editing and would bug me everytime. Then I made a simple text file, variable_name space value. He was scared of that too. I finally made a csv that he would open in excel, then he felt comfortable. He refuses to even try 2 years in, because our job in not really technical and I’m not his boss.
TLDR: start trying with simple things, backup everything, you may fail a bit, but it’s not that hard to get started with basics.
