Didn’t iRobot put out a DIY robot/vacuum that you could assemble how you wanted?

I third this vote. Owner of a Framework 16. Amazing machines.
Same here, I had white boy dreads until one day you realize it looks better to cut it all off then trying to make it look like something it’s not.

The bus departures came in one big door and right next to the door was one of them new standing internet kiosks that allowed you to browse the internet. This was back in 2003. I was checking it out to see what you could do and where it allowed you to go, when my friends bus came in. I was on goatse.cx and saw my friend and left the kiosk open and we went to leave and noticed many older Hispanic folks freaking out, or laughing as they entered the bus station. The timer ran out on the internet access, but it was a lot of fun with open monitors in public.

There security is so shitt, my GF account got hacked and they allowed an order to go through in Australia while we live in the US and have never been anywhere near there. If you can’t figure out this is fraud then you seriously shouldn’t be working in the tech industry.

I have tried the latest proton, the hot fix, the glorious egg roll version and several beta versions, and it’s that one game that crashes Linux.
mx_smith@lemmy.worldto Linux@lemmy.ml•"I'll move to Linux if it runs every game I want" just say that you never will move2·6 months agoHey thanks for your concern, I have been thinking of other distros but so far everything has been running fine on Fedora, if it comes about that a game I really enjoy becomes unplayable then I will start checking out Arch.
mx_smith@lemmy.worldto Linux@lemmy.ml•"I'll move to Linux if it runs every game I want" just say that you never will move4·6 months agoI thought so too, which is why I got it, but I have tried every suggestion in the protondb site and the steam forums and only got it to load the game one time before crashing the whole system, and this is running fedora 41, it freezes everything as soon as it loads. I’m sure I could check logs and prob try it again currently as I see proton-ge was recently updated, but I just moved on to a better game.
mx_smith@lemmy.worldto Linux@lemmy.ml•"I'll move to Linux if it runs every game I want" just say that you never will move4·6 months agoThe game Smalland crashes Linux so hard, and I am tired of trying every possible launch option command and suggestion to get it running. I don’t know if it uses a root kit but it does something that causes the whole desktop to freeze.
I’m confused on why they separate BSD from Unix. BSD is a Unix variant.

I don’t think I can hook my turntable up to it.

I agree people should just leave them at home, but these bags are like putting tape over your laptop camera. Just an extra peace of mind when going to the Dr.

I wish I saw this post yesterday before I installed VSCode from flathub, trying to get the terminal to see the same file system as my other shells. I got it fixed and learned a lot about flatpak.

The cable made a 180 degree turn causing it to break internally. Apple replaced it the first time, but I had to do it when it broke the second time.

Oh no, what are those kids going to do on the school issued Chromebooks.
