I’m not that interested in the game but very glad people seem to be liking it.

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft patents system for AI helpers to finish games for youEnglish
6·4 months agoThat’s a game selection issue IMO. Busy people shouldn’t play games they don’t have the time to get invested into. AAA design and marketing has pushed this idea that every game has to be this big 100 hour open world RPG narrative adventure, but there’s so much good stuff out there that’s over in less time or doesn’t demand huge play sessions.

I like him a lot, he’s really passionate and a positive breath of fresh air online, but the guy is surely stoned nearly 100% of the time. No way I’m taking his technical tests at face value.
60-80% better frames on Bazzite for space marine 2 was just too much to not be an error.

1·10 months agoVeronica is fantastic. Love her video editing, it reminds me more of the early days of YouTube.
I use Gramps and it’s good. Has a Linux client too. My Family Tree is also good but windows only.
Ah bugger, I suppose automating some sort of local/cloud/NAS backup is essential for that then.
Does having an app on the desktop PC do this for you basically? If I lost my phone today but signal was still installed on my PC. Wouldn’t that be a backup?
