That’s quite an assumption and also inaccurate. All I said was that Apple is not a good TV box due to it spying on you (in response to the OP saying it is the best streaming box). I never suggested anything about Google

I do. What about it?

The best TV box would not spy on you, so not Apple.

Oh, thanks! I hadn’t noticed actually!

Because media propaganda makes it seem as if the majority have certain views. People don’t like to be on the outside so if the media can trick people into conforming then they will try that.

It’s a Dell Inspiron 2 in 1. Quite nice actually. All metal, fingerprint reader works, 16:10, and other small things that add up to it being overall an enjoyable laptop

I’ve used Plasma via Fedora Kinoite and it works great. Flipping the 2in1 screen over disables the keyboard automatically and the touchscreen just works fine. Recently Plasma made nice changes to their on screen keyboard. Also, pressure sensitive pens worked perfectly as long as the note taking program utilized that function.

You could set up a USB drive with MedicatUSB. It’s an open source toolkit to diagnose computer problems.

Woah this is awesome. I had no idea it existed. Thank you

I was wondering what they meant when talking about the WiFi chip. Is it replaceable but just annoying to get to or is it soldered to the board? I thought typically WiFi chips tended to be one of the few replaceable parts.

Privacy and ownership

I wish it were that simple

So let’s all band together and not purchase things from companies that don’t let us own what we bought. These companies will have to change their behavior if they see a fall in sales. Let’s make ownership the majority again

Gotcha. Yeah that sucks

That seems to make sense and maybe most people will think that and this will stay niche. However I can see a legitimate use case of skipping traffic in a large city which gives significant utility. Also many people own expensive toys like toyhaulers and Canam Mavericks which come out over $200k in total. What I’m saying is I really won’t be surprised if these get incredibly popular.

Not nearly every developer puts DRM in their games and not every platform that distributes software says you only license the software, many let you own it

You beat me to it. You’re spot on

If they want you to use something specific on your own device then you should be able to request a new device from them
There are similar alternatives such as 0AD (instead of AoE) and Freeciv or Unciv (instead of Civilization)
