IDK, the hardest (Most tedious) part for me was renaming everything and categorizing things properly, but that passed over seamlessly, although I do remember being paranoid that I would have to do It again and the only reason I switched is because Windows broke something on my old server and I had to use Linux so I was kinda forced into it.
Can’t figure out why you would use Plex over jellyfin, I have a life time pass to Plex, I haven’t used it in years, this isn’t about money, it’s about not having garbage running on your machine.
I was just able to download it on every TV I have
Ah, so the system works.
You could just add an extra tax to cover it and it would be cheaper than your Internet bill since it would be spread out amongst everyone.
So, all those lines are leased to at&t by the state right? I feel like they could just revoke them and give everyone free Internet.
At this point we should just swing to 10 gbps sfp+ ports, it’s faster, it’s lower latency, it’s upgradable to 100gbps, it travels over fiber, but most importantly, it is a network protocol and we can use it for our Internet.
Um, we solved this problem years ago, we charge industry for dirty power produced and that incentivizes the industries to install power line filters and capacitors and if they don’t we use the extra they are paying to clean it up. They might not be having to pay for dirty power since its commercial not industrial but all that requires is forcing them to be in industrial zones or changing the electrical price structure, this is a solved issue
What an incredibly PC word for BLOOD DIAMONDS! I’m sure the world will be a much safer place downplaying that or if you prefer BLOOD MINERALS. But conflict minerals doesn’t exactly sound as hostile as it should.
It’s baffling how fast they fell, since they had a monopoly for ~20 years.
With a user base as big as chrome you would have to look for ways to lose money.
Maybe force them to give it to Mozilla since they are the primary ones that are hurting from googlopoly?
I always have issues with dns blocking so I tried something sneaky I redirected all DNS requests to 1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1 and it worked brilliantly, for about a month when it stopped working all together, I don’t know if a cache was wiped or google saw what I was doing and made a special exception just for me, obviously I want to believe I’m a special snowflake taking the world’s largest internet company head on in an epic battle of wits and skill but I think the cache thing might be more likely for some reason.
The whole thing is on the blockchain its a WEB 3.0 phenomenon using Quantum Computing Running on fusion power.
No! Fucj you! I should have known the minute Microsoft started making you log in to use notepad windows was dead but this is unacceptable, note pad has exactly one purpose, to be as simple as possible. If I want Ai I will use any of a thousand other programs but keep my notepad sacred!
Technically you use more power if you emulate, both electrical power and processing power.
That’s a surprise usually windows updates make things worse.
Why can’t these rules apply to everyone always?
Me wondering how many security issues the completely proprietary Plex has that they won’t tell us about.
