Gnome has been the only stable DE I’ve used in the last 20 years.

Always loved the customization options of KDE and would love spending hours tinkering to get everything perfect. Now I’m old and don’t have time for that bullshit anymore.

I just recently tried a few different DEs on an old Chromebook (i use Arch btw) and everything crashed after a few hours due to RAM limits, but Gnome kept chugging along on this piece of shit device and is now my daily driver.

If your DNS sinkhole is down, your modem/router/host operating system settings (and even the PiHole itself) should allow a fallback. If you didn’t set that up and don’t know how, then you should consider not using Pihole until you know what you’re doing.

Even better: build your own router with OPNsense.

DDG uses Bing as the search API, and I don’t see any evidence that it doesn’t use SEO as well.

I don’t use anything other than BASH, but I hear that ZSH has command tab-completion (not just directory tab-autocomplete) similar to PowerShell and also some other cool shit I’m not really bothered to check out since bash is the GOAT.

You forgot to mention it’s also coming to all Chromium based browsers (i.e. Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc) as well in the form of ManifestV3

Or just do a pure arch install by just running archinstall in the original ISO from their website and following their wiki.
