People don’t really know how their cars work either, but they are still responsible for crimes they commit with them.
Well, except for running over cyclists. They are allowed to do that.

prove me wrong.
Ok

You might be getting down voted because of your claim that it doesn’t have screensavers, which is just flat out wrong.
Behold, a screensaver on Wayland:

But it IS changing everything, and not in a good way

Ok… That exactly what I said in the comment you replied to. You are just angrily agreeing with me now.
The only part that differs is that this bill preemptively takes the phone from them, even if they have a good history of using it responsibly. That’s the part I disagree with. Take the phone only when there is a history of abuse from a particular student, not all the time, every time.

Except that’s not how phones actually work in the “real” world. Adults have phones on them all the time (with very few exceptions). There aren’t “phone police” preemptively taking their phones from them during meetings. They need to learn self control, and forcing them not to have the phone available doesn’t teach that. I’m all for making them put their phone in a basket for a time period if they show they can’t control themselves, that teaches them, but it shouldn’t be the default.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but this is dumb. Schools should be teaching kids how to responsibly deal with phones instead of just banning them. They are going to have phones once they graduate and they should be learning responsible ways to integrate that in to their adult life

Have you tried OpenLogi? I’m not sure if it supports that model specifically, but it supports a lot.

If only they made mice that weren’t shit. I love their keyboards, but they do not know how to make quality mice.

Isn’t this similar to the reason a lot of people hate snaps? Or am I misunderstanding something? I’m not an Arch user (btw) so I’m not super familiar with AUR.

Nah. The people that are bought them are though.

As someone that’s used both Wayland and X11, I strongly disagree.

Lots of games, especially indy games, rely on .NET, like Stardew Valley, and Terraria.

Yep. Plenty of games depends on it too.
I got sick and tired of windows turning onedrive back on and moving my files.

I doubt he wants the actual infrastructure. He probably just wants their RF spectrum license.
These kids absolutely know it’s wrong. Stop enabling bullies. The kids should NOT get a pass for this just because some corporation did something wrong first.
