The pi 500 looks amazing and I plan to order!
I was somewhat impressed with the specs of the raspberry pi 4. It was fast enough to run a desktop client for a bit. But it started suffering when I tried to code my regular programs on it. I turned it into a server and called it a day.
Where the raspberry Pi 5 is much beefier. And I was getting rid of my aging chromebook too.
No promises, but the monitor was built for low-powered devices. So it should work in theory.
I bought another portable monitor for $70 and that also worked. But so did a cheap $20 used LCD monitor.
At its price point, it’s very underwhelming.
I also did the math and I could get an average phone (used) every year for three years before I break even. And those average phones would be more powerful with each iteration.
Unless you’re bought into eco-friendly minimal waste messaging, it’s really hard to choose fairphone.
Here’s some BS. My phone’s battery replacement cost $220. ($100 for battery, and $120 to be serviced) That was the same price as buying a refurbished version of the upgrade.
I missed the days of just replacing the battery with a screwdriver.
Hurtin’ hearts need some healin’, Take my hand with your glove of love.
“huge fan” 🚩🚩🚩
My experience with HN is comments from out-of-touch engineers and me-too startup folks circle jerking with themselves. Can’t say they’re any better than the random discourse on social media.
He didn’t really get “assassinated”. He just got denied his critical-life benefits.
Wait what? You know that leftists dislike Democrats, right?
Are you really not aware they are two different things?
Id say a 1/3 of the games had NESHard energy. Some reviewers even said the first game listed was probably the worst experience for someone to play and starts people off with a bad taste.
I forced myself to play single game and absolutely found 10 games that were fascinating.
I also wonder if I approached it from a budding game developer, and how they recreated some modern experiences in a pure NES environment.
Also, playing the bundle at the same time as a friend is a nice experience! You start talking about what games you’ve tried and give each other hints and stuff.
This is an experience I wish I can have. I feel like a middle schooler again as I play each game, wanting to go to my pals and go nonstop about what I found.
Is there a strong correlation between someone who plays League of Legends and someone who is a annoying troll of a person?
Yes.
Getting increasingly hard.
I finally learned why those 50" tvs are so cheap, like $200. Buy a dumb TV that’s the same size is easily 5x the price.
Then again, nobody needs a TV and I only bought one during the pandemic, then connected it to my pi hole.
I really appreciate you writing this up and sharing the spoilers. Seriously, this is so helpful!;
Honestly I see games like this and ignore it. Not my cup of tea from the trailers. But spoilers help convince me to give it a chance, like DDLC.
Yep.
Tech companies have extreme “Fuck You” money. They have learned a lot from the past two decades of Antitrust acts.
That politician is either going to quickly change their mind with some bribes, or watch their entire life disappear with an army of lawyers or paid off peers shutting them down.
Fun fact: internet explorer was originally built off the File Explorer.
I kinda stopped following programming for windows a decade ago. But in sure there is some ancient code from 30 years ago that is holding some critical files together.
Need a Explanation?
(Gestures vaguely in the air)
I didn’t watch the video but who is this stuff for?
If I was a Microsoft fan, why click?
If I was a Linux fan, the thumbnail is all I need.
I’m not angry. I’m just confused.
And a lot of other situations with review bombing over the past decade.
