Even though everyone else isn’t with you, I hear you. I too like my coffee black just like my metal, and think Frankenstein girls seem strangely sexy.

I’ve successfully left Gamepass for over a year and came back recently, no problem. All my saves were still on their cloud from two years ago, and I had access to games I wouldn’t have considered buying, like Lies of P.
That may have more to do with water boiling faster at higher altitudes.
You are absolutely correct, I could have done it a while ago. But while it is inconvenient, for me specifically, it’s not top priority. Once there’s a convenient method I’ll be all about it.
I get your point, but the easier you make it to switch the more people will make the change.
Convenience, similar to ninite.com. Sure I could download each installer one by one, but when it was made simple I now use it all the time.
Similarly with Firefox: the easier you make it to switch from any Chromium based web browser, to Firefox, the more people will make the switch. To me your comment is equivalent to someone saying RTFM.
I’m not asking this facetiously but: is there an easy way to migrate my bookmarks, tabs, and pinned tabs easily to Firefox? I looked maybe a year ago but didn’t find a 1 to 1 easy switch way to go to Firefox.
To be clear: my personal laptop is all Firefox, but I don’t use it all the time. My main desktop is an integration of all three (please don’t judge), but I’d like to go full Firefox if it was convenient.
Just got access to Baldur’s Gate 3 through family share. Reminds me of Neverwinter Nights from the early 2000s, but I haven’t played a game like it since (unless you include Dragon Age).
Also getting back into Binding of Isaac and Slay the Spire.
Alright then the beatings will stop when the stock price goes down. Which should be never.
This is so apt, I’m not a Linux user but I’ve seen so many on Lemmy this fits. One day I may join y’all… One day.
“It’s not a war crime the first time.”
I get that we’re chopping it up here, but can we cut back on the puns?
If that gets found out it’ll surely make the police chief blush.
Hey it worked for Konami right? RIGHT??
Hmmm there wasn’t an episode last week, internet must have been down.
Have you sent this information anonymously to any journalistic entities? If you don’t this is just going to fade away until two years from now, like you said. On top of that if they have others reporting the same thing they’re more likely to go public.
All these posts about Linux have me curious, especially because I just updated my hardware and have enough parts leftover to make a new PC. My main PC still has to run Windows because I use Ableton for music, but you guys are making me want to make the 2nd PC Linux just for shits and giggles. Especially if it plays well with Nvidia, my old card is a 2070.
I dun wan it.
Almost like a turthseeker, so turt.
Both Turnip Boy games (Tax Evasion and Robs a Bank), short fun, games with decent replayability. The writing is what makes it work though.
Wayfinder, don’t have a full opinion on this yet but it would have been interesting to see it if it had been released as an MMO as planned, the world is very pretty.
Crime Boss Rokay City is pretty fun, at launch it was crap but they’ve moved more towards a PayDay angle with heists and is pretty decent now.
