I’m sure you’re the first to think of this! You’ll be rich!
How long would it take to make it have above that threshold?
I hear X bucks can be used in place of the three seashells. Does anyone know if that’s true?
Playing devil’s advocate, in a crazy accident you may not be able to get to/reach your phone, or even be responsive. If you use the personal assistant function on your phone, it’s no different than using OnStar, in terms of privacy.
All of this said, last I heard OnStar was pretty expensive for the average household income. I don’t have it, and I don’t worry too much about it.
I’ve been using it for months. I don’t expect it’ll be free forever, but I’m using it while it’s around. Not using it is like not watching a movie because it won’t be streaming on Netflix forever. Enjoy it while it’s here. Of course, if you didn’t want to support Google, that’s a different story altogether and I would support that.
The cardboard I don’t mind, it’s the packing pillows that I mind (better than the old fashion packing peanuts or bubble wrap, from a recycling perspective). I bring them to Publix for recycling because my local waste company doesn’t recycle most plastics. I suspect Publix isn’t either, but it’s better to try than to just throw them away.
If only Congress was literate on the issue.
Fuck… I switched to Brother last year.
I believe we determined that Jesus invented Buddha and Buddha invented VPNs. So, by extension we could say without Jesus, there would be no VPNs. Also, no corn chips.
This is the case with a lot of companies. Facebook didn’t turn a profit for 10 years or something that sounds equally crazy.
Ronald would like me to tell you that Seamus told him that Dean was told by Parvati that Hagrid’s looking for you.
I think they’re saying that they are supposed to be (i.e., this doesn’t need fixing). If they “fix” it, the people will be afraid of the government.
This is why I say please and thank you to Alexa (also to model appropriate behavior for my young kids).
To add an additional perspective, it’s not that I dislike these people, some of them I love, but my time has so many asks as it is, and I just cannot maintain active relationships with that many people who have no other impact on my daily life. There are a few I would make time for when the opportunity comes around, but I can’t keep sustained things going with more than a few people. I say can’t, but what I mean is that I prefer to spend the vast majority of my time with my wife and kids, and I will use just about any amount of time that I can spare for parents, siblings, and their kids. I have a few friends who fit into the same group as the family. After that, it’s occasional messages, Christmas cards, and the rare visit/meet up. If you are there for the good, you should be prepared to be there for the bad, in my opinion. I cannot offer that to too many people beyond immediate family. Also, I certainly don’t have the money to support some of those folks through their rough patches, and saying “no” to people you care about sucks.
I don’t think that producing content by itself is sustainable, but things that aren’t quite profitable enough might be enough to be profitable overall with the reach and market share.
I could totally be wrong, but it feels like they’re fairly invested in D+, and I don’t think it’s because they want everyone to have access. After all, they had a “vault” for many years and only sold movies that were rotated out of the vault at the time.
Disney is a bit unique with their streaming, though, because their content helps foster interest in their merchandise, parks, theatre movies, etc. The more engagement with their streaming content, the more likely someone is to engage with some other part of their business. Also, if I’m watching Disney+, I’m not watch any other streaming services (at that moment). They want to be a dominant streaming service because it helps them dominate in the parts of their business.
Netflix, Paramount+, etc. don’t really have that, at least not to the same degree. Prime is more similar, because while you’re not investing in their own merchandise as much, you might be more like to use Prime shipping or music if you have Prime for video streaming (and vice versa).
For no good reason!
He can sue, but he won’t win in any sane court.
