As much as I liked Visual Studio, its privacy intrusiveness was my final straw.

Silly MedPiggy, Tax breaks are for Billionaires.
I wonder what other uses there are to sell data that is not for advertising? My second thought goes to what is in place to stop a middleman from saying that they would not sell information for advertising purposes, but selling the data for “quality control of data acquisition” purposes. If you are getting a service for free, you are the product.
Have any of your blood relatives had any diseases that have a genetic component? Cancer? Heart disease? Yeah, we don’t cover that, it’s as clear as day, in the fine print, on page 13,131 of indexed addendum information. Additionally, you knowingly had this information from a DNA test, which constitutes fraud, making your policy null and void. Thank you for your business.
Not compared to a Musk truck. Then it’s 5% ish, and a bargain.
That is fixable. Make waves with higher ups. Many in education are trying to fight this same battle. There are better alternatives, as we all know. I also work in education.
I was getting excited about getting a new vehicle, and was looking at a Tesla.
But, Nope! I’ll ride a tricycle before Elon gets a penny from me.
A quick search confirms that MacOS is based from proprietary BSD UNIX code. It is not compatible with Linux
I quit YouTube because the ads were overwhelming, and quality content is so rare.
We will die eventually anyway. The real question is how much torture are we willing to put up, until then.
Solar ditches make more sense. Carrying solar panes add weight and air resistance. The trailer area is 416 ft which can hold ~33 panels if panel configurations are optimized for a trailer. Weight will be 3000 lbs, which cuts the tare payload by 6%. This is not enough electricity to run a semi with two drivers splitting driving responsibilities, running day and night, and in weather that does not have power for the cells.
Trains are the most efficient system that we have. I wonder how the math would work for trains? I expect that it would be a net gain, but the added complexity of connecting and disconnecting for each car as the cars get switched in yards would be a nightmare. Once travelling, there is little braking and acceleration, which lowers the power demands.
I did a search to buy Prius batteries. I remember searching for how to replace batteries years ago and downloading the instructions. There were quite a few steps because of the potential of fire, if shorted out, but otherwise was pretty straight forward.
Asking for a friend, what is there to prevent wanna-be influencers getting some shots set up, for quick selection of a paired set and uploading that? Bereal, by it’s very name, is a challenge to game the app.
Our Prius lasted 12 years before we sold it, and it was still going strong. Newer batteries have improved their life expectancy. My experience makes me doubt your claim both on life expectancy and cost. A quick search estimates the (battery) cost between $2000-$4500, depending upon installation cost. We replaced the Prius with another hybrid that gives us 65 mpg/28 kpl. When infrastructure gets better, We will fully switch to electric. ICE engines really are that much more inefficient. Equivalent electrical costs are pennies per gallon. edit added: (battery)
I tried that My friend tried that, worst advice ever.
I uhh have this friend that could use something like this for everyday conversation. When I When he opens his mouth, his inner Sheldon Cooper brain part takes over, except he’s not smart enough to connect to AI.
If this were some fiction plot, Copilot reasoned the plot twist, and ran with it. Instead of the butler, the writer did it. To the computer, these are about the same.
