I’m using last.fm to scrobble my music to. It brings me the most Spotify features minus the streaming part (even has a neat playback thing which appears at the end of the year instead of at the begining of december)
Ce să vă zic, mă, bine ați venit? bine ați venit, rău ați nimerit. La locu’ ăsta îi zice șerpărie, de la șerpii care umblă pe-aicea. Dracu’ știe cum au ajuns…

Did they release the actual music yet?

They likely won’t. More likely, the devs will put these products in the most funny places (say, billboards on the side of the road in American Truck Simulator). They’ll keep this thing running for ~5 years and they’ll axe it.

@far_university1990 yes but the legal precedent has been set, lol
(/s maybe)

Hmmm, that got me thinking: if you selfhost, you make sure you also instal ollama or some LLM you can also self-host. You don’t need to use the LLM yourself at all. Then if something goes south, and you’re accused of piracy, you can just defend yourself that you used all these materials to train your own LLM. That should get you out of trouble, right?

Why did I initially read this as Premium Pentium? lol

Had a friend telling me the same, lol. FWIW, I got into Metro after watching the series of The Linux Gaming Experiment, where Nick played Metro Exodus - so I kinda enjoy Exodus more, lol.

Started playing War Robots again. There’s an event with a few perks, so I even got premium for 5 days for free.
Gotta finish Metro Exodus at some point tho.

I can’t deny there were some cases where the authorities have exaggerated. Especially recently. But you know where these people are actually coming from.

You maybe know that it’s not these cases they’re referring to when they talk about the lack of free speech.

Ah, of course it’s about the serious violations on free speech in *checks notes* the brutal dictatorships of Britain and Germany. The dictatorship of common sense dictating you how not to be an asshole.
That’s so terrible!

Then don’t worry about it

@Panda1606 worst they can do is remove the license from you. Use it as you please and while you can.
Edit: did you also have to input your card details? If yes, check if you haven’t been billed already.

Well, you can easily tell if an envelope has been tampered with. For email, on the other hand, it’s more difficult for the average folk. And again, Gmail is also sharing information with the government (okay, it’s mostly the US government, but still).
Imo, we need more providers like Proton, Tuta, Mailbox dot org etc. and probably more education into how one could protect their data and so on.

I think they do provide torrents for the stuff they have available to download already. So we know what to do *wink*!

Having the government provide email as a public communication service sounds good in theory. However, this could also pose a privacy risk if your government turns rogue and authoritarian. If it is possible to also have this communication E2E encrypted in a way that is as frictionless as possible (no, PGP is not really that frictionless unless it’s built in), it would be great. However, we all know what is the general take of governments regarding E2E encryption, so I think I’ll pass this one.

You can find good stardicts of just about every dictionary on the internet if you look hard enough
I’m just amazed by this. Can you point me to some of the more common places where one could start? I could really use some new dictionaries 😁
Check the laws and regulations in your country (or ask others who know). In my country you pretty much don’t need these, especially if you use a private tracker. But I heard that in other places you are actually getting fined if they spot you.
