It’s not for you as a consumer.
It’s to reduce your usefulness as a worker.
Which would be lovely, if our value wasn’t calculated by our usefulness to the market.

It’s not on mine yet.
So some a/b testing maybe
Thank you for letting me know. I will too.
Best way to find out is to search for all of them inside Tidal. I don’t know if you need to make a free account or what to do it.
They usually have great black Friday deals though. I think I paid like €2/mth for my first year.
Just a reminder that the Tidal family account at the maximum subscription “grade” costs €16.
So you and 4x buddies can get very high quality audio for €3.20/mth.
Management get to say they’re doing big fun events for morale etc, but the employees can’t make it look like they did a bad job of it (i.e. did not make the party entertaining).
Can you tell me more about this? Or just a link would be amazing.
I’m worried about what this could mean about further SEO enshittification.
I always liked how GOD had a blue checkmark.
Like, “over here is confirmed to be the real Barack Obama, and over here is confirmed to be actual God”
And for a reasonable price, the AI corporations will sell you the chance to survive in the world they created for you.
Subverting the will and attention autonomy of the user is a premium feature now.

This has sent me down such a rabbit-hole.
I thought Ray Liotta did the voice for Michael. This whole time.
Like how the Trevor actor’s face is used for Trevor, I assumed they used a (de-aged) Ray Liotta’s likeness/MoCap.
That’s so strange. I’m surprised Ray didn’t have anything to say about it (or maybe he did and it’s forgotten now).
Apparently you need to clear the plugin’s cache semi-regularly.
As sometimes it won’t update itself as fast.
I for one welcome… blah blah
Yeah this is scary and honestly why I’m super careful what I put online. Well, mostly.
There are professional social media checkers who will find your hidden/locked social media (and Reddit etc).
They get hired by recruitment agencies or companies who are hiring.
And on the surface it could be to check no one is a secret nazi/chauvanist etc
But I bet there’s secondary data about political leanings or how “appropriate” your friends are.
Or if you’re willing to be a part of the old boy’s club (coke and strippers is fine for execs, but you can’t have a nephew who is in a labor union etc).
Tidal app is good but slightly off (mainly with offline mode, but probably there’s a way to do it once you get used to it. I just don’t need offline mode that often).
Apart from that it’s a solid player.
For some. For others, it’s the other.
For some, both.
Oh that ok. It’s not green on this side.
There’s a lite version that’s only for the ads.
It’s cheaper than the full 19.99.
While that might still be too much, I just wanted to point out that if you don’t want ads, it doesn’t cost the full 20quid.
It took me a moment to notice those weren’t specifically security terms…
