I do think it’s good to create a healthy culture that respects workers, but I don’t understand why being able to fire an employee is a bad thing
Imagine you’re not allowed to fire people you don’t like who you think are doing a bad job at work
element / matrix instead
haha, sounds impossible, right?! It becomes possible because you put your fingers between two vertical keys, so you can do it with the 4 fingers on each hand on the home row keys (asdf jkl;) - try for example putting a middle finger between “E” and “D” on a keyboard and pressing them both at the same time
edit: you could hit more keys by putting your finger in the middle of four of them
bank attack on encryption?
media bias being called out too much
there’s also graphene and a few others or linux phones I guess
redundancy is key
This doesn’t give a balanced overview of the positives of Brave, for example they have Tor integration which is interesting: https://brave.com/tor-bridges/
opinion on lineageos?
Ahh, my appraisal might be the opposite, PMOS seemed to have better software and support for things like the Pinephone and I thought it ran on more devices, but I am happy to see both projects and it’s nice to see both designs
today there are comparable projects with like postmarketos and ubuntu touch for specific phones, among other linux mobile projects
there are a few like postmarketos and ubuntu touch for specific phones, among others
there are almost no posts there, seems like a premature defederation
also this is not true AFAIK:
exploding-heads users and admin … has taken notice and has decided to invade and set up shop there to just generally push their stuff into the federation
a user on EH posted that RS was possibly being defederated, then a user from RS posted to EH, then EH people started posting there
I’m not sure what you’re trying to say here, I just think that if the technology is good enough, people will adopt it anyway so it’s not needed, and bans can be bad like idk if you support banning drugs but it can create unintended harms (maybe there is a legit use for the old bulbs in some places, and by no means have people used up the supply we already have)
ban isn’t needed or good
I think another word needs to be created or used to describe the process, like “badification”
mostly just software licensing versus FreeDOS and much less functionality (but the focus has been on squaring away basics, anyone could probably add a lot more public domain programs on from this point forward, idk what fundamentals still need to be fixed)
This could be suggested as an alternative name
That should be fine though, that’s freedom of association, why force people to work together who don’t want to do so?
