Ehh, phones have mics, and most people have a phone in their pocket these days. If you’re walking around in public, you should know that there is likely a mic nearby, so you should act accordingly. I’m not condoning public recording, it’s just the world we live in. Look up your local laws, some places require both parties’ consent for recording (honestly unrealistic these days but can be helpful in court), and some places only require one party’s consent (meaning people are allowed to record their conversations with you without telling you).
Remember not to incriminate yourself. It’s good to know when to be quiet.
Seems a lot less useful without a mic though, and it’s super easy to hide a mic without smart glasses. The camera is only problematic because it’s otherwise really hard to hide one on your person.
Every technology is useful if it isn’t used malevolently. Alas, they are, so personally, I avoid them. Maybe at some point smart glasses will be compatible with something like GadgetBridge and I’ll be able to revisit them and teach people to use them more ethically. Just like smart watches.
As long as they’re also mic less. You can do just as much privacy invading with an open mic.
I used to love my bose frames. I would use it to listen to music, but they obviously had a mic, and it was great for phonecalls.
If you don’t like mics, oh boy, that’s everyone with headphones

smartwatches are useful for taking calls and responding to texts, and I don’t see a difference between a smartwatch on your face and one on your wrist
